Westfield SE - Mission Impossible

“For 5 years I had a mission. This mission was to get my ex Westfield Championship 2000 SEW racer through its IVA and on the road with an age-related plate. Now, most people told me it couldn’t be done and at best, I would end up with a Q plate, if anything at all… Martin picked up the car and took it back to Coventry for the challenge. Martin and his team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble: we spoke most days on the phone or
via e-mail, working things through, and letting me decide on the path that I wanted to take for my car in relation to amendments and the changes needed to get through the IVA.
Now considering this car had only ever been built as a race car, there were a lot of issues!! But Martin worked through them, and I never doubted that I would get what I wanted at the end of it.
I am now the very, very proud owner of a Westfield SEW – fully road legal with an age-related plate.
